The Product Compliance team provides regulatory support and guidance for new product initiatives throughout Binance Global. In this role, you will embed and maintain the framework, playing a critical role in the new product lifecycle from original development to product launch.
Responsibilities:
. Develop and implement a strong and effective framework in close collaboration with the Global Head of Product Compliance to enable end-to-end compliance control coverage for business unit product launches, new features, maintenance, and assistance in putting country product restrictions into effect.
. Oversee the current product compliance framework policies and procedures and make the necessary updates.
. Work on process and documentation enhancements, such as risk assessment templates, registers, and process documentation, among other things.
. responsible for the framework's overall effective delivery, including senior stakeholder management, risk management, and any other important deliverables during the whole product cycle.
. Communicate with the Product Teams to guarantee that the register is updated with new initiatives, modifications, and impending products.
. Encourage continuous discussion and training on product knowledge and regulatory needs, especially if gaps are found.
. Uphold the RACI, which outlines the duties and obligations of the pertinent framework stakeholders.
. assistance in keeping an eye on commercial hazards associated with the product.
. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and assist the company in evaluating their effects and, if required, enhancing controls.
. Establish solid and productive connections within the company to support and deliver work activities effectively and to enhance the Product Compliance Team's reputation.
Requirements:
. 5+ years of experience in the financial regulatory sector, ideally in a bank holding company, fintech, broker-dealer, investment adviser, asset management, or crypto native startup.
. outstanding familiarity with Binance's product line and the underlying technologies.
. commercial savvy and an emphasis on how regulations are applied within the company.
. current understanding of new advances in regulations.
. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
. aware of the requirements set out by regulations for product governance and the use of suitable controls and systems for various business profile types.
